The Copenhagen light rail along Ring 3 around the capital begun construction in 2019. The tramway will be built between Ishøj and Lundtofte. Total length is 28 km with 29 stations along the way. The expected number of annual passengers is 14 million, all of which will have excellent connection options to the commuter train at six interchange stations along the line. Headway is calculated to every five minutes during the weekdays, and every 10 minutes on Sundays and holidays. Every train will be able to carry 260 passengers, which is about 4 regular city buses.
